Christmas 2012: Part Seven
Chapter: Season Three
Here we go! It’s not a d20Monkey Christmas story without a brawl and it looks like Brett has a new adversary: Krampus
Why is he here? What’s his deal? You’ll see.
I have to say, I am pretty happy with Krampus’ design. I looked over a ton of reference and tried to make him look threatening.
You may have noticed some changes to the site and I am happy to say that the new site launch is underway. However, as with any launch there will be a few bugs to work out and Brianna is working on ironing out the issues. Once everything is buttoned-up we’ll have a ribbon-cutting ceremony and crack a bottle of booze on the side of the servers.
Sorry but i don’t find him threatening, the whole abs that looks like his ass is on backwards thing makes him look silly.
Great news, Anthony: I changed the art.
I always appreciate feedback and looking at it again, you had a point.
If this still doesn’t float your boat I suggest taking a break from this comic for a week or so until I finish this arc up.
Huh, wasn’t expecting this. Though quite nice spin on the Krampus character, since I pictured him to look like Santa but with horns (or maybe that’s because I just watched a Finnish horror movie which had Krampus as a frickin’ giant)
What’s funny, is I just watched a Nutcracker that includes Krampus characters which looked just like him, but without the weapons/armor, so my brain said “KRAMPUS!”
Rare Exports?
Yes! That’s correct! You win the 20 million dollar question!
I just KNEW Krampus was going to make an appearance sooner or later! Rock on, Brian!
Now wait just a gosh darn minute. Santa has a Dick Tracy wristwatch???
YEEESSSSSSS
Sorry, no wristwatch… he was just wiping the blood from his mouth, as the standard trope for “It’s on, bitches.”
There is absolutely no reason to believe that Santa couldn’t be doing both of those things at the same time. I BELIEVE
“Trope”? Ouch.
Aw Brian, don’t take it like that. I think what he meant is it’s a ubiquitous and accepted symbol for “SHIT BE REAL”.
Plus, the combination of Brett taking his beating all manly like, and Hawkins mentioning Dick Tracy has me picturing Brett as a rough and tumble film noire detective, which is an awesome mental image. š
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEANT! YOU’RE NOT MY REAL DAD!
No, what DaMunky89 says below. Ubiquitous and accepted symbol.
Much love! No homo, saving myself for Trevor. š
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Always happy to see the Krampus depicted in any medium. I put him into my annual Holiday themed Pathfinder game two weeks ago using these stats

Probably the funnest monster I’ve used in awhile. Whats not to love about a ranged attack that reads: Lump of coal +11 (1d6+7 plus 1d6 fire) ?
THERE WILL BE BLOOD. No seriously I am excite. š
This is awesome. I love how you handled the transformation from kid Krampus to full on Krampus. Can’t wait to see where this goes. Keep up the great work.
YES! I love when Krampus is used in any medium. He must become mainstream knowledge!!! Forget coal, little Jimmy, you go clean your room or you’ll get eaten come Christmas Eve!
I like how you made the first panel with the big “BOOM”. It made me want to scroll down and read more.
I love the yearly Christmas beatdown!
