Ha, the great fool, he’s fallen prey to one of the classic blunders. The most widely known of which is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never try to sneak past an Amy when she’s wearing her hand crafted wizard’s hat!
It’s not too late to escape with the wine, Trevor! Quick, blind her with the body glitter we all know you carry on you at all times just in case of fabulous emergencies!
Knowing that it was Jeanie who originally gave Amy this task, and knowing full well what she’s capable of, I think (or at least HOPE) Trevor is smart enough to back down here.
Brian, I’ve loved this arc for being so tender and real, and I’m incredibly proud/happy that October 4th was the 5-year anniversary of this whole project. (Haven’t finished the blog post yet, but I will soon.)
…
That being said, I frickin’ loved this strip. This was by far the best way to end my day. Thank you 🙂
HOVER-TEXT: You’re damn right she made that hat.
She has hat making powers beyond REASON!
This pleases me.
But who made the nose?
Oh wow… actually, up until this point I never noticed her nose is like that… Okay 😀
Well THAT’S one way to enforce sobriety!
Not sneaky enough, girl!
Poor Trevor… although it does seem like he’s frequently seen with drink in hand. I hope we get to know a bit more about his background sometime soon.
Oh, and I love the little details, like the kitchen art. If I’m not mistaken, that looks like a knife chasing after veggies. 🙂
I think something passed alright….in Trevor’s shorts.

Inconceivable!
You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means.
As you wish
Would anybody like a peanut?
You need to make a poster of the knife and vegetable picture from the background.
Maybe he wants a peanut? (instead of a box o’ wine)

I love this idea of Trevor getting mugged and escaping behind a screen of glitter.
SMOKE BOMB! *poof*
Would that count as a glitterdust spell?
That would e exactly what the Glitterdust spell does.
But really I have to ask, would Gandalf have the power to stop Trevor from drinking the wine? Be real here, she might lose a limb in the attempt….

Much less heavy. Thanks for that.
Of course she made that hat. The real question is: did she already have it or she made it on the spot?
I’m guessing she already had it. The hat was put away, waiting for *just* the right moment to be brought out into the world. This is that moment.
I like to think she carries a bag of holding that has hats for literally every conceivable situation.
Of course! How did I not see it? Although the modern word for the Bag of Holding is a “purse”. XD
Nah, that hat looks like a hastily-assembled improvised item, possibly made with aluminum foil from the kitchen.
Hey NIZE HAT!
“Amy takes her job seriously.” And here I didn’t think Amy took anything seriously.
omg i love that women lol
Gah! Mood whiplash!
Wow. I rarely comment but this is good. This is naked Brett in a birthday cake good. This is how to make a t-shirt fit right good.
I love that she turned on the kitchen light with her Gandalf Hat!
