Writing on the Wall
Chapter: Season Three
Characters: Sam
A new comic appears. It was storming here in Nashville most of the evening (as I worked on this) and despite a few hiccups, everything came together.
The weekend is here and with a busy week in the world of WotC and D&D to think about, I’ll keep things brief and leave you with this: Roll some dice, play some games, and have fun no matter which game it is.
See you on Monday.
+1 for the subtle optometrist poster in the background in panel 3!
Aah! Can’t look at 2nd panel, eyes keep trying to focus!
That beholder looks…surprised? Maybe? Like someone just goosed him. Can you do that to a beholder? Seems improbable, for several reasons.
It’s looking at a dancing penis with a top hat and a cane.
Looks more like a “WHAT IS THIS, I DON’T EVEN…” look to me.
Hope he went to LensForgers, where your lenses are forged from ancient dwarven alloys in volcanic fire in about an hour!
Am I the only one that hears “Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal” from the dancing penis?
…not anymore.
haha “Dancing penis wearing a top hat with a cane”
now that is awesome
I cant help but Chortle at the LFG Reference.
HAH!! I’ve had glasses since the 5th grade and this nails my feeling of what it’s like to look at the eye chart. They ask me what I see and I just start laughing.
I’ve had glasses since I was like six. The eye exams are annoying as hell.
“So tell me… Is this one better? Or…” *CLICK!* “…this one?”
*Dramatic pause while I try to tell the difference*
“You’re f%@!ing with me, right?”
Discovered this via “just the first frame” and it’s funny as all get out! Thanks for the laughs!
I’ve had glasses since I was 9. The eye charts without my glasses on don’t even have text on them. XD Not even the E!
I was exactly that way until my LASIK surgery. Best $$$ I ever spent. 15 years later and I only just started to need reading glasses for small print/low light situations.
