He looks upset, why does he look upset? Did he write this with another female in mind and forgot that others might question it? Surely this is his own backstory he came up and thus, not a cause for upset.
That medalion look like her belt buckle. So I’m going to guess she’s bound to it like the traditional genie bound to a lamp thing. There is also a bunch of blood, but not so much that the entire hand and arm is covered, and apparently not enough that it obscure the water… My guess is he was in a critical situation and couldn’t afford the time to negotiate her help, but he wasn’t the one in the most trouble he did it because his brother was hurt and they needed to escape something.
Dropping those kinds of bombs on the other players is always fun. Reminds me of a recent game where I got to reveal that the young knight I was playing wasn’t the gender the party thought she was. (And incidentally, that she was the young lady a group of less-than-savory types had been looking for.)
This whole section of the arc is going to be backstory referencing multiple tales from the Sam’s characters backstory and I like it. I only wish my players would get on this narrative train.
Married to a genie poor guy.
Or maybe the sister of Ricky Scraggs (He was awesome)
What an arm on this guy with the throwback joke!
