Vault of Deknar: Part Twenty
Chapter: Season Seven
Blatant Shilling: Did you know Patreon pays most of my bills? It sure does and if 1/4 of my average readership throws just $1 each month at it, I would not have to freelance and I could make even more comics. That would be pretty sweet. Check it out, won’t you?
HOVER-TEXT: It looks like them Dwellow Brothers done stirred up a head o’ trouble again.
anyone else hear the general lee’s horn when they read the hover text?
I did, I also for some reason heard dun dun dun dun in the back of my mind…
*Banjo Solo*
lol… foreshadowing that the main villain looks like Boss Hog?
Totally read the hover text out loud in the voice, though I did add the now to the front of it.
Cue the banjo music
I did the same with the voice.
Gotta love the Balladeer
Dun dun DUUUUH
More comics would be awesome. Let me find my debit card homie.
Can I point out something? Calvis Dwellow (Sam) has sneaked across a large hall to a second chamber where he looks the hand of fire. As far as I can tell, he’s also the only one who knows about it unless he shouted back to his companions about whatever he found. Did he shout? If so, why so sneaky if they’re making that much noise already. 😀
So, this is going to be fun. Will Sam let his character keep this as a secret? 😀
Judging from the last panel, I imagine that once he found the door unlocked and the vault containing the Hand, he told them to come over.
Or we get a panel of Jeannie looking amused as they realize she’s taken all this in character so they’ve been yelling loudly across the room and attracting all the temple guards.
Maybe Jeanie should ask them to choose between the two? The look on their faces when they realise they have to risk either alerting the temple or moving further in should be pretty good.
Hey! I heard you were doing the extra Ra card for the upcoming Dresden Files card game! That looks absolutely awesome! I hope the companies you’re working with on it are being cool.
Okay, so to the peanut gallery here in our dear comments section, assuming the General Lee doesn’t come to Karthun what will these good ol’ boys a) jump with? b) jump over?
A) Their legs. Of course. B) Several dirty scary traps. Hopefully. 🙂
Looks like the team….
*puts on sunglasses*
….had the rug pulled out from under them.
YYEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!
Wait…the plot of Doctor Who is complicated? I never found it to be so…
An individual episode’s plot is rarely overly complicated, but when you look over the history of Doctor Who and try to tie everything together, then it’s time for some coffee.
Especially with Moffat turning Matt Smith’s entire run into one long, convoluted arc.
I think it has to do with my special interest in stories that make Doctor Who seem uncomplicated for me. And I’m not just talking the years of filmed episodes, I’ve read numerous books and listen to the Big Finish Audio stories quite often.
Long time reader, first time commenter… keep up the great work… just added you to my patreon list..
Thanks so much!
My favourite meta joke will now be the demand to know things now followed by an almost two week delay.
And no im not complaining I know you were working on making money I just thought that was funny.
