actually, I’d just want to have my own character in the IGS games. Lovecraftian insomnia is the best insomnia.
I have given it serious thought. The problem is time. I am not a full-time cartoonist. I have a day job that can (and does) step all over my drawing schedule so expanding to a second comic would be difficult right now. I mentioned it at GenCon that if I did IGS as a second comic, it would update twice a week and I would have a large buffer in place before launch.
So for now, it is rumbling around with a strong “possibly”.
I’m alright with 2 updates a week. We certainly don’t want you to burn yourself out.
Mythos Scooby Doo? That sounds like fun.

I’ve got two theories:
1.) Either Sir Montgomery is possessed by an eldritch horror or he always was one just disguised as a human, and either way he’s/its taking advantage of the Knights of Salem’s witch hunt to have use them as a tool to destroy the IGS.
Or the one I find to be the most likely, 2.) Sir Montgomery is a regular human and Professor Brant has just finally teetered over the edge into shoelace-eating jackfuck lunacy.

Bravo Brian, I’m loving this storyline, and Brant’s descent into madness.

It watched its minions set fire to the woman. It fed off of the chaos, and the darkness that they wrought. And what made it all the sweeter, was they thought what they were doing was just. They believed themselves to be the hero of their story, when they did nothing but feed the darkness. One day, it would show them how very wrong they were… once they had outlived their usefulness.
Yeah, it could really go either way.
On the one hand, Brian has said that he -really- failed a sanity roll, making me think that he probably critfailed + maxed the san damage roll. Meaning that this could be a completely fear induced hallucination.
On the other hand, same as above, although rather than it being a completely fear induced hallucination, the utter loss of Sanity could’ve triggered his power enough to reveal him for what he really is. Only time will tell.
