Until Death: Part Six
Today’s comic features the first guest appearances from Kickstarter backers with Ruth and her husband cast as The Librarian and Caretaker, respectively.
Ruth asked to specifically appear in an IGS arc. I hope you are happy, Ruthie. You’re a ghost.
I have kicked the idea of Witch Hour Hall around for a while now and I am happy to see it in IGS continuity now.
The story continues on Monday.
Wow! The idea of a caretaker-librarian couple, for whom even Death do not part asunder; that’s brilliant.
I’m a ghost-brarian!
Brian. …where are my hands? How am I typing this?
Don’t worry, The Librarian is only missing one hand. For reasons.
I can’t tell if ghost librarian and kite lady are supposed to look like they’re related to Abigail, or it is Brian’s art style.
Either way, I want this to just be a comic book right now that I can buy and not have to wait for pages. : /
I’d like to see IGS as a stand alone story line, but I know it’s hard work to split and do two different comics. So I’ll just have to be content with the occasional arc.
I have to imagine that writing IGS is a bit more work than some of his other material, so how often we get it is good. I just hate waiting for updates!
Okay, now do exactly as I say. Everybody ready? Okay… GET HER!!!
Stay close!
Apparently in the Ghostbusters video game, the ghost librarian actually has an extensive backstory.
Ghost Librarian? I want to see that as a new anime! When she shushes you, you STAY shushed; for all eternity!
Seriously though, Brian, absolutely wonderful artwork. I’m thrilled to see another IGS story arc going forward. Keep it up, ’cause I’ll be here watching.
In the alt text, it should read “if she” rather than “is she”.
Enjoying the comic as always.
Great arc and characters. Love the spooky colors in the last panel! (Btw: Is the mouseover supposed to say “I wonder iF she…”? I don’t mind it at all, but I thought s artist, if you’re a bit like me [perfectionist concerning my own work and and easily annoyed about irrelevant, minor mistakes], you probably want to know.)
Keep up your great work, I’m always looking forward to the next update!
Wow… That was purposeful, right?
Sorry, I didn’t want to annoy someone. Just wanted to help :-/
Too, too funny!! My name is Ruth and I read your strip, though I couldn’t afford the kickstarter. I would have wanted to be the librarian and my husband as the caretaker. Though his name is Mike. This still makes me smile when I read the strip, now I will deifinitely have to buy the book!
