Ouch…
Once, I was working on a film set and we had to move this huge garden table, all Granite and iron, weighed a ton, took 4 people to move it. One of those people stepped in a hole, whole table went flying and so did everyone holding it. Table landed on my knee. I doubt it was as bad as Sam got there, but I’m still getting serious sympathy pangs for this whole storyline…

A while back when i was helping out at a charity i had to get to this annoying inside balcony which you can only do by ladder. i tripped on the edge and feel back down. i landed on my feet and spewed more profanity then that of a secondary school in chavtown. one of my legs was perfectly fine by some grace. and the other was twisted backward stuffs painful, and thank god for the NHS.
I was riding my motorctcle one time when I hit a massive pothole I went flying and broke both arms the moment I hit up the ground the shock caused me to be more worried about my bike until the point that shards of bone started to stab through my skin
I had a swivel knee when that semi truck hit me while it was banking a corner….. Was laid up for 8 months unable to walk….. Of course that was the year after I got shot with the .357……
Well crap, you saying that makes my “trifecta of death” year seem like nothing. Emergency C-section, mastitis with 104.5 fever and 2 small strokes within 8 months.
Oh kay, I think, perhaps, I should have stayed away a few more days because I’m still feeling hrngh. Let me know when he’s in a cast or a wheel chair or something that does not allow hrngh.

I second Animus. My husband dislocated his shoulder during an MMA match and the pain didn’t even register until later that evening.

When I was 12, I got in a go-cart wreck that resulted in a massive head injury. I was legally dead for 6 minutes.
That’s a thing? I thought that legally, when you’re dead you stay dead. If a doctor calls it, that’s it.

Don’t worry, the gross is pretty much over. I’ve established the injury and while we may see an x-ray, no more twisted leg.
