Am I the only one wondering if Lee’s recent activities might be rooted in him coming out to one or both of his parents, and them not responding well?
I take it more as him NOT coming out.
Aside from the time he reentered the comic, he was only in the first Santa story, and one during the intro to Dallas.
His attitude in the Dallas arc is very different. I take it as him acting how he thought the regulars wanted, and once Pops fired him for his bad work attitude he took it way too personal.
This whole thing is about killing Dragon’s Den, the place where he faked a whole personality and he has bad emotional attachment to. He want’s nothing more than to work with Sam, but he doesn’t want to do it at the Den.
It took 10 days, but I’m all caught up. Thanks for doing that guest strip on Dork Tower!

I’m never quite sure what locations in this strip might be real, but there is a Black Hole Donut operation. They don’t have a shop yet, but they’re working on it.
