Good looking out, Matt. I’m sure the previous replies were meant in jest or to share the burden a bit, but the suffering of others in no way diminishes or invalidates your own.
So my guess is, based on Carlos’s reaction, is that everybody has seen their greatest fear in the crystal – Carlos his abuser, Dallas Dove or worse, who knows with Officer Clark, Brett and Jeanie? The only reason why Charlie looks ok is because he’s blind to the point of eyes not functioning.
I have mixed feelings about the “everyone would be sad” plea to people in crisis. I know it’s a reminder that you aren’t alone and that people do card, but for me, while Sad Brain(tm) is in charge it easily gets spun into “Your existence hurts people, your non-existence would hurt people, no matter what you do you cause pain.” and/or “Your only value is to other people. You are worthless outside what you can give to others. Staying is only providing them opportunity to continue using you.”
But that’s what mental illness can do. Take even the most well crafted and best intended response and twist it into another knife to wound and drain the life out of you.
True, but you have to remember that life is full of pain, and joy, and just plain happiness at little things. We all have pain and doubt and self-loathing and wondering why we stick around inside of us. It’s how you learn to deal with things that makes the difference, and whether or not you survive. You either take it and let it beat you down, or you stand up and stomp it into the ground. You have to make the choice.
“It’s kind of a shit show right now.”
Damn, Charlie’s been my morning inner monologue for the last 7+ months.
7 months? Those are Rookie numbers
You appear to have misspelled “Since November of 2016” …
I’m sorry people are gate-keeping how long you should be struggling. Your struggles are valid and I hope things get easier.

We’ve got a city to burn!
Good kitty.
Charlie: Hey, you. You’re finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right?
Okay I laughed way to hard in public at that.
Now my brain is chain reacting the gang in skyrim.
So did I. Very well done.
