HOVER-TEXT: Oh shit…
Didn’t Dove always wear a purple shirt? Did he get a copy of the Necrowombicon and whip up some otherworldly powers?
Dovil.
Well Dove was picked up by the mystery Limo. I would be very surprised if this wasnt the same group.
I agree, this is probably the same group, however I don’t think that’s Dove…. Whoever it is does have a certain evil style though….
Who is “She” ?
Yes, This. Of whom is the She ye refer to?
Jeanie will be she, I suspect. Those two got along rather poorly after that Claus-cubine fiasco.
Subject/object. “You hate [Brett Claus] as much as She hates him.” Definitely not Jeanie, probably someone we’ve not seen before. Clive here is being offered an alliance with enemies of Christmas.
My bet would be this is someone totally new and they are not even speaking about Brett.
If there is a King of Seasons, I wonder if he ever had a queen?
I LIKE this theory.
Why does he still have the monocle?
Just because you become a magical banished hobo doesn’t mean you lose your sense of style.
Family heirloom.
Because he is one classy mofo.
It grew back.
(No, they don’t)
Move over Dove. Whatever revenge you’re trying to wreak with your mysterious limousine-riding associate is gonna be small potatoes compared to this.
Who says they are not one and the same?
This year’s Christmas: The League of D20Monkey Foes
that little shit!
“Mother” wants to have a word with you. 😉
Dat Foreboding *shiver*
Krampus maybe?
I was recently rereading the older comics of this series from the beginning. Well this may be genius, or then again it could be insanity. After all the line between the two is often pretty thin. This character in the dark flames, veil, what have you…. It somehow seems like something from one of Sam’s earlier campaigns. Maybe something from his first Karthun games that he did right after the DM vanished. What would happen if two realities suddenly collide? What if the world of Karthun turns out to be a real place which Sam created as a consequence of the visit from the DM? What would happen if something from that world broke through to this world and goes after Brian and the others because when they create characters they become real in the world of Karthun and something their going to do would become a threat to this power or creature. So it goes after that being, or player in turn. What if in some strange way the visit of the DM somehow released the power to create an alternate world and Karthun was the result, a result which is now striking back to remove a threat to it. They wanted to see what would happen if they visited another area of Karthun instead of stopping that threat in Karthun and this is the result. That threat which ended in a group TPK is now loose in the real world and going after them. That force from Karthun is going after Brian first because he is either the weak link in some way or the strongest one of them and the biggest threat. Their games would take on an entirely new dimension because if they lose the portals or doorways between our reality and Karthun would be opened to travel by those things which they lose to. Again this is just either genius or total insanity I have no idea which. As I said before the line between the two is so very thin. Maybe I somehow just saw behind the curtain, or maybe I’m totally full of it. But, if I am seeing something it would be such an awesome idea, and it would be pretty dang sweet…
Sorry I meant going after Bret, not Brian. in a lot of ways I see Bret as Brian or at least a part of him as him written into the story, heck I sometimes write a character as me in a story when I’m writing so I look for that in others even if it isn’t there. Sorry about that, anyway Brain keep that in mind if you read this. It would certainly be an interesting twist wouldn’t it?
Oh, man. This is why I always go Punisher on a nemesis.
Having a failed villain nurture a burning hate for you? “Ain’t nobody got time for that.”
This could have had the “Clive” tag, to help out what’s going on in the “Now” 😀
(and for those asking, yes, I was revisiting the old comics in light of what’s just happening!)
