Today’s comic is an example of how I have an idea for a while but need to wait for the right context in which to use it. Specifically, Trevor’s Hag and Brett’s reaction to the idea.

With this strip and a few to follow, I am going to expand the “d20monkey Universe” by introducing a few new gamers who live in the same area. I love the idea of members of a local gaming community who cross over with each other, share game nights, hit conventions, etc. Jeanie and her group will be the first of the occasional waves of new blood into the series. Think of it as Giant-Size X-men #1 when Colossus, Wolverine, etc. joined the X-men.
