I’m guessing from what we’ve seen so far, she’s actually some kind of fire elemental (whether genetically engineered that way or just an uncontrollable power she gained), but the suit she’s wearing contains it and lets her control it through gradual release of varying intensity (like when she melted through the vault door back at the start). Since she seems to be constantly surrounded by a heat glow, I’m guessing the suit is constantly venting off excess heat to keep her power in check.
It does seem to be affected by her temper, going by the way Chronos kept telling her something like “remain calm. We cannot afford a flare at this moment”.
And, as Hollywood found out, once the suit opens up, her power basically becomes “unfettered” (to borrow a WH40 Psyker term) and a large quantity of the surrounding scenery gets turned into a charred smouldering ruin.
Probably some sort of genetic meta mutation or whatever as that seems to be the pattern in this arc so i wouldnt expect anything purely “elemental” based seeing as that doesnt really fit in great with the whole sci-fi theme, but otherwise your observations are pretty sharp. I am also curious if this “jester” that king chronos was talking to earlier is a meta as well, or if its just a tech based guy. Anyway, hope meltdown shows us more of her blowing-up powers soon haha
All about the razzle-dazzle, friend! Misdirection! Keep their attention where you want it, keep them off guard, make them watch you put the ball in your pocket! The holograms need not be top quality (though he has a tech wizard on the team so they probably are) if they’re accepting what they see as the truth.
Also, remember that he’s been there for a while. Odds are, he’s tapped their comms.

On a more serious note, I just wanted to say I’m fine with the pacing/length for this arc so far 🙂 As always, better to have it be good quality rather than rushed.
