Loving the comic, but I am right now wondering how old that S symbol actually is because I remember seeing kids (myself included) draw that back in 1995.
Got mental images of Sam’s Karthun binder hanging around, smoking joints with all the local 5th Edition homebrew binders, staring at passing people and chuckling among themselves for no apparent reason like teens do. And laughing and jeering at Old Man Tomb of Horrors when he shouts at them to get off his lawn or he’ll set the Devourer on them…
Impressive work on the hat but he’s not leaving much room on the wall for the rest of Captain Crunch.
I scream laughed at this.
Listen, that teenage Karthun is clearly a fan of Arby’s.
Oh, god, now I’m just imagining passing rings through my ring. *shudder*
I’d be more concerned with the big SQUARE hard cover…
That S on the back cover is killing me. Nice detail!
OMG – I had not even noticed the tramp stamp!
Mind pussy. Braingina.
Like Athena, born from Zeus’ forehead.
Or I dunno, Dionysus born from Zeus’ leg since Sam requires a walking impliment. Probably came from there.
Only noticed because Mik yesterday pointed out how awesome the low-key santa shirt was, in the last panel Brett has lost his candy cane.
And fixed!
The King of Seasons lays eyes upon a possible typo in the first dialogue box of the third panel.
*Bows*
Your Majesty.
Fixed!
But what’s it going to do with the green paint? I need answers, Brian.

I sometimes get fixated on things like that.
Look into it… the s symbol has no real origin. It is something we just seem to do at a certain age.
That S symbol has been around for generations. My grandmother was born before WWII and she showed us how to make an S with six stick.

Dark times, man. Dark times…
I’m just glad that he’s actually explaining this to Brett, instead of just internalizing his anxiety.
Plus, “Respect the Metaphor!†was a great punchline and made me snort-laugh.
I thought the “S” for for “Stussy”, whatever that is
considerign it’s drawign a dick i think Laura Bailey would Love Karthun
