I wonder just how much of this was the design. I have this feeling that the whole caper was staged to get Deyla to become the Deknar avatar.
Dwayla used leverage over Calvis to get him where the gauntlet was with a plausible sounding mission. She knew who Calvis would recruit as backup for the job. The Dagger and his Wraiths* would have attacked whether the group would have voted to bug out or continue the mission. And then the Wraiths specifically targeted Annabelle to trigger the right response from Deyla to the Gauntlet’s request.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think I am. In any case, well played sir. Well played indeed *cheers*

God I wish my players could pull off RP this nice lol. This comic is full of great moments. Unfortunately my group tends to be a bit too RP light to really get invested.
