Carpet Shampooer? Did you not see the condition of the Sales Floor area of the store after she blew through it with Jeanie in hand? He’ll be lucky if the building isn’t condemned unless Santa can magic in some supports before it collapses.
I mean, that’s why I said the best one, not just some $20/day rug doctor nonsense.
In all seriousness though, that the building hasn’t come down yet says something about the quality of the construction (unless the narrative NEEDS the building to stay up, then physics hold no sway around here)
I guess I should have capitalized Narrative there. I was implying less plot-armor narrative need and more “that mystic power Sam wields†need (more a subconscious use of the power on Sams part, if only because the crumbling location of a huge battle never fully collapses until it’s either an epic turning point in a battle, or the hero just won, stepped away, and everything crumbles, framing their exit in a way that just can’t happen without some unearthly influence)
Also, he loves that place, so his internal narrative would “need†it to stay, otherwise that’s a huge part of his past gone, and that emotional hit would be brutal right now (especially after the work being put in regarding the now smoking crater of Game Haus)
Anyone else remember back when we were making jokes about Sgt Kitty Corn and Brett having a phobia of Diceless systems? This has been one of the absolute wildest rides I’ve been on since I played Palladium. Absolutely fantastic, Psyched to see how it shakes out in the end.
I would not celebrate the death of that mutant yet, remember it’s leg is wrecked and it just stood up in the middle of adrenaline fueled fury. It could be that the leg went and so did it.
Ooh, foolish creature, you can’t just yank those things out, that’s all that was keeping your inside bits…ya know, INSIDE (if slightly punctured)
Sam’s going to need to rent the best damn carpet shampooer he can find.

Plot armer is best armor..
Waking up and leaving comments in the middle of the night does not protect me from typos.( *Collapses on pillow*)

*HAPPY DANCE*
That knockout (kill?) feels well earned.
Yesterday’s epic panel-fest did a lot of heavy lifting. (and bleeding)
That’s one.

FATALITY
THAT. Was the most satisfying Splorch I have ever seen in my life…….
When the barbarian runs out of rage rounds and can’t ignore her fatal wounds anymore.
MIGHTY CRITICAL FINISH!
Kamen Rider Ex-Aid much there?
Daisy needs a new t-shirt that says, “NAILED IT!”
I meant, Josie!
Man. Eye really messed that one up.

The fading flicker of the pink energy from the other eye each panels, was a lovely detail.
