I’d want Carlos not for any perceived minority representation, but because I liked how he played in that last game and would like to see more of him 😀
Also, on a side note, just looking at the photos, Dallas looks like she’s angry at Carlos.
I love the idea of Charlie staring at the cork board with the 8×10 color glossy photos with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one.
I would love to see a rotating cast just in case someone can’t make it or had other obligations and simply I like Dallas, Carlos and Amy. and this would restart the “Multiple Campaigns.”
If that’s the case, then he’s doing it wrong. Proper etiquette for guiding the blind (at least, as I have been informed) is to take them by the elbow or upper arm, not the hand, and not to pull, but just apply a light pressure to indicate direction.
I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate Sam keeping the group smaller. It’s great having friends and doing multiple campaigns when you can… when you try to get everyone in on the same group, it gets way too busy and crowded. I’d leave my group for that reason if I had another to go to.
Carlos seems like the obvious choice here. I suspect Sam gets plenty of time with Amy and if she’s not in the game then he can talk to her about it during off hours.
However.. I’m going to put my wager on 00. Grey will be joining the team.
I love it how he has nice, smiling profile pictures of everyone in the group (except for Brett) and then terrible pictures of Dallas and Carlos. Why would he pick those?
Much as I like Amy, I would much rather it be Dallas. If that’s even possible, what with her running out of the shop and going Brett knows where. :/ She is, to me, a far more interesting character and a more convincing roleplayer. I love Amy as an awesome girlfriend for Sam, but I love Dallas as a growable character in her own right who can meld with the group – and the comic – as something much more than just a kooky side character.
Short of Dallas, though, I’d definitely pull for Carlos. Anyone who commits to RP that much is welcome at my table any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
You know… I think I just I don’t like Amy as anything more than a background character or set dressing with the occasional funny quip, and I didn’t realize that until typing this out just now. That kind of makes me sad. 🙁
Personally I find Amy to be an interesting character. She’s goofy, yeah, but that’s a trait, not her entire personality. I just want an opportunity to see it, outside of the ‘sam has a gf now’ area.
I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but the expressions of the faces on the board makes it look as if Brett is glowering at the new candidates, Amy is making doe eyes at Dallas, Dallas is apprehensively eyeing Carlos over her shoulder, and Carlos just looks freaked because everyone is staring at him.

There is actually a reason: It’s what he could get his hands on with short notice. Plus: Carlos pretty much always looks like that.
Essentially this is where the almighty comic creator shoulda shown a complete redesign.
If he were doing an art refresh on all his characters, this would be a good time.
