Tell Me Everything
Chapter: Season Nine
This page is a little simple, but in the interest of full-disclosure, I’ll say that I haven’t been sleeping well lately and I am little tired this week. I will go back in soon and vary it up a little bit, but for now I just want to keep steady content rolling.
Have a lovely weekend.
Lol! Dallas does almost everything full throttle doesn’t she?
Only two settings; Total Apathy, and Hard in the Paint.
I’m very similarly rigged, so I empathize completely xD
Look at Charlie’s smile in the last panel. He was expecting this reaction.
God, Dallas’ excitement is infectious.
Hope you get some good rest, Brian. Definitely been there myself.
I am noticing that Dallas only drives through “chill” on her way to “OMG” from “sigh…” or vice-versa… kinda like how a commuter between Philly and NYC only passes through New Jersey.
*blink*
Is Dallas bipolar?
To be fair, how would you react to learning that one of your friends is also secretly the author of one of your favorite works of fiction?
While I would (and have) introduced bipolar character to the series, Dallas is not. The simple answer: She is 18-years old and I know when I was eighteen, I was pretty excited about things (still am).
No. She’s a fangirl who hasn’t figured out how to curb her enthusiasm for what she likes yet. And to be fair, not many adults my age (42) have figured it out either. 🙂
Yeah, you being tired explains why Dallas’ dialog in the second frame is a bit “off”.
Here’s what I think you were aiming at:
I didn’t really know
you [were] a dating expert.
Actually, I’ve never known
what you do for a living (sorry
I didn’t ask soon[er])[,] but can
I just say, holy hell this is
a really nice townhouse.
In other words, replace “are” with “were”; add an -er after “soon”, and put a comma after the parentheses. It reads much better that way. 🙂
I disagree. I think “are” instead of “were”, were to me speaks to past tense and he is still a dating expert. Sooner however does make more sense but we all make mistakes when speaking so to me it almost gives them some humanity.
Yeah, it was a sleepy typo. Fixed!
Charile’s expression in the last panel is priceless.
“Yup. Still got it.” 😀
This comic is amazing ! am almost 30 and i react the same way to meeting a author at a convention. Hope your doing ok Brian your comic rocks!
I’m really, really not used to seeing Charlie sans hat. I full on was like ‘uh..wait, who? No way this is Charlie.”
Also, joke about gingers and souls here.
Nah, as I mentioned on the previous page, blind people have extra soul. It’s why Ray Charles is so awesome.
Hey, some quiet panels now and then are just fine. After weeks of putting out some damn good Kirbyesque superhero battle scenes, I don’t think you have anything to be ashamed of.
Ditto.
Also it gives the clear impression that Charlie’s townhouse has a 40 foot long entry hall. 😉
