Subtle
Chapter: Season Four
Today we get a little glimpse into the cosmology of Karthun and I am getting a kick out of presenting lore and details about the world but honestly, it’s time to get to the business at hand.
Next week: World-walkers and the Cinderhaunt!
“Because Reasons!”
Most commonly heard rogue line…
Lookin good! Keep it up 😀
Haha, nicely done with the change to appearance. I do love the “looked too much like Varric” line. Personally I didn’t have an issue with Jeda looking similar to Varric (honestly, who cares?), but kudos to you for deciding to change it and finding a way to do so that fits Brett’s character and gives us all a chuckle.
I’m really enjoying the Karthun lore as well. I think I’m going to have to join in with the comments on previous updates and ask that you please make this setting available to us somehow. I would support the hell out of a kickstarter for this, and drag all of my friends kicking and screaming to the page in order to empty their bank accounts into the project.
I’m hoping that Karthun is the game world of the d20Monkey Adventure Game Playtest document pdf that was a stretch goal from the d20Monkey: First Edition Kickstarter. *crosses fingers*
Hmmm. I’d actually forgotten about that… Man, that would be pretty cool.
Nicely said! The change in appearance is VERY cleverly done, and to great effect. 😀
LMAO! Rusty Venture!
Now the eye patch needs to switch eyes, not often, just once in a while, and just for a frame. 🙂
You’re picking up what I am laying down. 🙂
I had to double check before I posted that you hadn’t done that. Yet.
Just like Jarlaxle in FR. 🙂
Pirate nightvision?
Dwarves in Karthun have the ability to change hair color at will? Never will a fantasy game race be more hated by women around the world.
rogues ftw
Are you trying to trick me into sharing this with all my Venture Brothers fan friends?
…
It worked, damn you.
Now he looks exactly like Varric in a disguise!
I had to smile at that one.
Now now…it’s entirely possible that he owes one of these alien, untouchable magi money. Hence the disguise. Because while mages have great int, we all know that sense motive isn’t one of their core skills.
So the eye-patch comes with a fake scar? that’s neat.
Yep. Disguise kit.
