The funny thing is, I just dug out my set of Dragonball dvds that I haven’t touched for about two years. I actually watched the episode where Goku learned the Kamehameha wave not even a few hours ago as of this reply. I love it when life just lines up little things like that.

I love getting to see Carlos’s side of the RP. We usually cut to IC view for these moments.
I continue to love the change in Carlos’ speech patterns when he’s role-playing or story-telling versus just talking normally. It is an awesome way of showing how gaming brings out his self-confidence.
Also, his facial expression in Panel 6 is fantastic.
I love how into this Carlos is. Just fantastic seeing the fella come out of his shell to shine.

I don’t mean to offend, but shouldn’t that have triggered an opportunity attack from the Aspect? He’s not disengaging, and he didn’t say he used misty step.
No offense taken at all.
In 5th-edition Dungeons & Dragons, you can move around a target you threaten (without provoking an attack of opportunity) as long as you do not leave their reach.
So, Gul’Ren could circle the Aspect and not provoke an attack.

I so do would want this arc as a printed comic. Just enjoying the art on paper and would be so much better than the screen.
Though not the only arc I would want as printed, issues of IGS arcs too….

Ran out of popcorn ages ago due to staying at home all week (Day 7 of the Great Scottish Lockdown!), so reduced to chewing on fingernails.
If Carlos has my luck, the Aspect will survive with 1 HP left, hehe.

Dex save… for half damage, right? If failing the save means certain or even near-certain death, then passing only gives him better odds – a decent damage roll could still end it.
Also, I know the dice have a screwed them a bit, but wow, how the crap were they supposed to have beaten this thing with Gul’ren in the cell and no sultan? Even with good dice rolls (and they’ve had two *really* good damage rolls), this seems like it was stacked against them pretty hard.
