Love it – “Named dice” exist in other RPG groups too – one of my players will sometimes bring out “Old Billy Baroo” a d20 from the old 80s D&D boxed set.
My last DM had a set he termed the “Blood Dice” as in when they rolled, the blood of the PCs will be spilled. Hearing him rolling those randomly behind the screen was enough to make my hair stand on end.
my own core set are nicknamed ‘blood and gold’ because they have a sense of dramatic timing – they will kill players and bless them in two successive rolls.
My personal favorite is one of my first ever dice, a black and red d20 that I’ve dubbed “The PC Killer” because it loves to crit when someone’s on single digits in health.
Thank you for using the help rules to grant advantage. I think too many folks don’t know or take advantage of this one, instead making separate checks to try to do the same thing, instead of helping the good person do it.
And then there’s those people that get familiars just for the purpose of using them to grant them advantage on every skill check they can possibly bullshit their gm into believing a raven or whatever could help out on.
Haha, since I now play no-dice but cards RPGs, My fave card is named… well in fact it stands on the card so I guess we all have the same name for the king of spade.
first hello Critty now Crit Harington…you have GOT to find a company to make them as a set my dude
You are ridiculous, and we love you for it sir.

How do you measure yourself against other golfers?
“By height.â€
Yup – the line is from Caddyshack, but my player legit named that ancient d20 “Billy Baroo”

Ok, showing my lack of pop-culture awareness here, but what is Crit Harrington a reference to?
It’s a reference to the actor who played Jon Snow in Game of Thrones – Kit Harrington
I’ve been looking for a really, really nice d20 to make into that for myself for a while. One day it will exist.
You are ridiculous in the best possible way. Love this arc.
Follow up question – who owns the following d20s?
Critty Critty Bang Bang
Eartha Kritt
Ridiculous? Or… RE-CRIT-ULOUS?
I’ll see myself out.

I agree with everyone else, you are riduculous in a fun fashion, Brian. 😉
Apparently I need to roll more dice, because I don’t seem to have any that are consistently good on either the high or low end. 🙂
