Shattered Honor – Part Fifty-Nine
Chapter: Season Ten
Characters: Brett
Brett is ALL IN. And a programming note: Wednesday is Christmas, so I will be posting the traditional d20Monkey Player Gift in place of the next page in Shattered Honor. Thank you all so much for reading and I hope you all have safe and happy holidays this year.
Have great holiday, Brian!
I would knife fight a bear for that set.
I would watch you knife fight a bear for this set. Better odds of obtaining it.
That is badass! Happy holidays, Brian!
OOOooooOOOO00oooo!!!!
Shiny
I patiently await the ‘bonus panel’ where there’s just an elf standing by the lightswitch; Her nametage reads ‘Hello, my name is Alexa’.
Krom…
I had a moment of thinking over the players and thinking wait who is Alexa
Whatever you do, don’t cross the streams
Happy Holidays Brian
This reminds me of a location I created for my D&D group a couple of decades ago: a large room with shutters, many mirrors, and a large crystal in the middle of the room. When the shutters were opened, sunlight came in, reflected off the mirrors onto the crystal, which then directed the beams down into a room directly below, which had a raised pool; when the light hit the waters of the pool, it became a Healing Pool.
It took my group about three sessions to discover/realize all this.
That’s precision craftsmanship, getting all the beam angles to work just right!
… I think I need a cold shower.
Maybe two.
Hot Diggity damn! But that is awesome!
Happy holidays dude!
Love your work 😀
Wonder if the beams goes from the cage to the “statue” or the other way around? And what are the two monoltiths for? And seeing how crafty a GN Brett has been so far, I don’t think freeing Gul’Ren or toppling the statue is ‘the end’ (toppling statues is mandatory, just remember to pry out any gemstones first, or they might shatter).
The beams are draining the lifeforce (hp) from Gul’Ren to power/charge up the statue.

Wow!
😮
*stares for some time then slowly falls over sideways into an untidy pile of awed bliss…*
Worth the wait, but I’m in so much want for the next plot comic update asap.
I have to wonder if this is inspired by Brian’s (heretofore unrevealed) collection of LED-equipped Dwarven Forge terrain in real life.)
Actually, I’ll bet this is exactly the sort of epicness which Stephen of Dwarven Forge would support. We need a D20 Monkey licensed encounter set from Santa-Brett!
(A man can dream, right?)
Brent has outdone Matt Mercer and Brennan Lee Mulligan with one battle map
I’ve seen someone do stuff like this with individual necrons (and one very well done monolith), but this is next level craftsmanship.
If one of them does not call the giant golem “shredder” I will be sad.
Awesome!
Helluva set piece. Well done, Brian! (Oh, and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!)
FREAKING LASER BEAMS! Now where are the sharks?
