Morgrim Felwright, my Dwarf Warlock (Hexblade, Pact of the Blade) – who I haven’t yet been able to play, sadly – says “Tha’s right, boy – g’wan and park y’self behind meh, while th’grownups get t’work!” 😀
(He’s built to be surprisingly tanky for a “spellcaster” … 16 CON, Hill dwarf, d8 Hit Dice, Medium armor and shield …)
The game I run has a Desert Half-Orc Dragonfire Adept. His stupid high Con gives him the highest HP in the party, but he’s technically a spellcaster-type.
Dawww!, I was looking forward to a scene showing active trap detection, beyond just stating “I search for traps” and rolling a die: throwing sand, dust, pebbles every which way to find threads or photocells (or magical equivalents), using water or other easily obtainable liquid to check the floors, small flames to find drafts, et cetera, but Carlos face is adorable! That’s the kind of face that makes you remember why GM in the first place.
Now, what are the odds that all the doors are traps, and the real way out of the Skinnerbox is something else? (Hmmm, “Skinnerbox”, that gives me ideas for a trap….)
won’t know until karthun gm guide is released. Currently use a mash up of sorcerer and warlock. use sorcerer chasis sans metamagic/font of sorcery with warlock’s pact of the blade and source based eldritch invocations (mage bound gifts mentioned in karthun source book)
p.s. also have source (subclass) features granted at 1st, 6th, 10th, 14th, and 18th.
1: cantrip/ minor mechanical ability and/or ribbon
6: aptitude for certain types of spells. copy paste dragon sorc lvl 6 feature for elemental sources and non elemental sources apply same buff but to save throw for certain spell schools example: fae = illusion and enchantmeny
10: defensive ability similar to warlock
14: major mechanical ability similar to warlock
18: buff to 10th level ability. damage resistance or advantage on certain types of saves based on source becomes immunity
again this is just my thoughts until Brian officially releases the magebound
Brian iam eagerly awaiting the conclusion, looking forward to igs and am excited to see you tie up all the loose ends i believe in you but at the same time I’m thinking how’s he gonna do it, can’t wait
Carlos flashing back to the last time he led from the front…
Sentinel Hale we hardly knew ye.
Woo, putting the spellcaster in front! This never goes wrong! 😀

That’s warlock for yea
SURELY NOTHING SHALL GO AWRY!
Is this known as opposite of SQUISH formation?
Oh….it’s the squish formation alright
Sounds like the squished formation to me

Sam is forgotting the rules of his setting.
And the Magebound are the Wizards, Warlocks or Sorcerers?
We find out next week when the Magebound is released for us to see
…yes

I’ll be releasing the Magebound class this week, so you’ll see then!
Typo: grasps should be grasp.
I agree with Brent on this ruling ….man that feels weird but it’s a rare time where rules as written and rule of cool agree
Brian iam eagerly awaiting the conclusion, looking forward to igs and am excited to see you tie up all the loose ends i believe in you but at the same time I’m thinking how’s he gonna do it, can’t wait
I am choosing to believe that ‘grasps’ is in the original document as written.
It was indeed a typo on my part. It is fixed now and thank you for the heads up!
Brent’s GMing style seems to be rough on his friend’s buttholes. Always making them clinch or pucker.
Is anyone else having a hard time with Brett autocorrecting to Brent?
PC master race …! 😀
