I greatly appreciate the distraction! I’ve loved and been reading your comic for years and you just keep getting better and better! Thank You Brian!!!!!
Been trapped in a bottle for who knows how long, has to be subservient to some nameless human who finally opens it. Sultan’s got a bit of anger to work off, and oh, hey look, he’s been COMMANDED to obliterate a worthy foe? Times are GOOD.
I am always thankful for D20 monkey it makes me smile and its world is a great place to escape to. Unfortunately as a essential Npc I have to leave the house to go to work but I wear the Im Trying tshirt i got from the d20 monkey shop and it sucks less.
Hey come on being essential is great at my job half of us got fired cuz all the events got cancelled due to this shit and the hotel lost over half a mil so anyone below around 2 year seniority got canned unknown when or if they will get rehired the worst part is did not lay us off actually fired us so no employment insurance.
Yea true and just so you know I appreciate all the people still working in such environments you guys should atleast get danger pay or something cuz literally the front line between the general populace and rioting over supplies.
Looks to me like the Aspect lost its whole left arm to the Sultan’s attack. Left arm and shoulder on the left side of the screen, flaming ass-kicker sword to the right of it, rest of Aspect (with gaping shoulder hole where the arm should be attached) to the right of flaming ass-kicker sword.
as i said on the facebook page.
i have to wonder how much of the sultans attack is physical damage, and how much of it elemental (fire) damage. as since the aspect is based on an Iron Golem, fire – should – heal it. so it would make sense if the next panel were to have the golem hit the sultan with its severed arm and then reattach it as a move (or bonus) action.

One word to describe that scene. EPIC!!!!
The Sultan is REALLY ENJOYING HIMSELF!

…. and that’s another Nat20, it seems … 😀
The dice have been weird all session. It has been a theme.
I’ve had sessions like that. From both sides of the screen. So I can relate! 😀
So do.you just roll a die as you script out the story and work off the result?
Right you are Ken!
World ain’t ever not scary. Keep the distractions coming :3

A masterstroke in “Show, don’t tell” storytelling Mr Patterson. Well done.
Hot damn!!!!
Rude way to describe a miss and introduce the Aspect’s fire immunity, Brian.
I am contractually obligated to interject
“Meh. ‘Tis just a flesh wound.”
