Ah the old “let’s skip the dice rolls and describe this cinematically.” I’ve used this tool VERY often.
I say, if the chances of failure aren’t interesting, you should probably skip them. That goes for climbing things (generally) busting down unguarded doors, and tying shoes.
I like the little turn order markers atop the screen.
HOVER-TEXT: BOOOOOOOOOO
Always leave ’em wanting more!
Our DM typically references “the Gods of Interesting” to prod us along, which works in this situation too.
What are the little piece of papers she has on the top of the dm screen?
Initiative tracking.

nooooooooooo i caught up ;-; well, at least it was the end of the arc. i found this comic a few days ago when someone posted a link to the “free re-roll certificate” in the comments thread of a guilded age strip and have been binge-reading since. excellent comic you have going so far. keep up the good work. ^.^
Wait, are they saying “Booooooo” or “Booooooooouuuurns?”
I was saying “Boooooouuuuuurns.”
Oh, man. That DM screen, though!
