I wasn’t expecting an update here, I just randomly hit it on my bookmarks, and yet here we are (with quite the happy surprise). All I know is things are about to get real (real-er?) and the pace feels like it’s going to pick up & just keep running once it’s up to speed.
Both looking forward to the continuation/conclusion to the story, but sad to see it’s end (all good things, and all that)

I’m wondering if there may be something unnoticed happening here… Brett shares the mantle with Klaus because Klaus refuses to give up his half. But Jeanie is the only Mrs. Claus. She’s not sharing the mantle with anyone so she may be more powerful than Brett or Klaus right now.
Oh… and one more thing. Y’all are gamers, experienced gamers. You don’t just go rush off to the dungeon, you prepare first. The mage prepares his spells (hint, hint there Charlie), you gather your weapons and you study your enemy. You get whatever rations and expendables you’ll need. Yes… they need to get to Brett. But if they get to Brett unprepared for the fight, the cold, and whatever else, they may lose.
