      Yeah, the Society seems to take it in the shorts every time something happens. You’d think they’d want to get more people involved. You know…maybe reduce the body count/asylum expenses/magical cages expenses…

    Y’know, I feel like the wooden club might actually have been more effective initially at least. An ancestral, named weapon passed down for generations in a family, that the character has been wielding so long to feel it’s an extension of themselves? That sure sounds like it might develop magical significance even leaving aside the fact that plenty of woods are considered to have magical properties.

      The funny part about predicting it was that I just knew she would be taking that weapon out of all the others to choose from when we first saw them. You might say my eye was drawn to it.

      It’s an odd knack. I can usually catch the dramatic twist in a movie or story if it’s telegraphed. This one was subtle, and excellently portrayed.
