The markings in the circle do bear a slight resemblance to the markings in Dr Strange’s “window”. (It’s actually a seal, or was before Marvel started screwing around with their continuity and renamed the “Avengers” into the “Ultimates”.)
(I know, I know, that was all changed around later when they expanded the one comic into the ‘Ultimate’ Marvel universe, and that universe was later retconned into continuity via Franklin Richards, but if they changed the Sanctum Sanctorum who knows when?)
Oh man. The sad thing for me is I want to see the return of Brian’s first character. Missing body, and art hinting at his eventual return at the end of that arc? Definitely want him back. But then, we are sort of making a loop here, back to Violet and the old manor, so maybe next arc?
