Yeah…say that now…my mom got creative and built a multi-car train out of Twizzlers and cake when i was a kid…I couldn’t stand the smell or taste of Twizzlers for over two decades.

Huh, I pegged it as a mini fridge filled with cokes, as that is what sits directly to my side when I run.
Drawer unit for minis. I’ve got about 4-5 taller drawer units recombined into tall towers for my whole collection. If he’s anything like me, this is just the active-use stuff prepared for the session, the rest of the collection is off-screen, perhaps in a closet.

I think that one’s in the freezer. One of these days Sam will be looking for a frozen pizza and when he picks up the box he shall become possessed by their malice. And only a Christmas miracle will be able to calm the hate filled Darth Samuel armed with his lightsaber cane.

I know that feeling – I just kicked off a new campaign last night with 5 newbie gamers. It was FANTASTIC!
I’m getting ready myself to kick off a Pokemon Tabletop United game based in the Holon Region.
Whilst it is not DND, it is challenging in its own right. I mean, all of the players have elemental powers in my game, are part of a criminal organization, and are fighting against ANOTHER criminal organization who dress up as Knights.
Let’s do this! LEEEEROOOOOOYYYYYYYYYY JENKINNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSS!

this one reminds me of a campaign I ran over 20 years ago. A store was going out of business, so I bought 3 cases of college ruled filler paper. Sitting in my apartment i got an idea for a campaign, and saw the 10 foot by 8 foot empty wall and started taping blank paper together until I had the wall nearly covered in blank paper. 2 sets of colored pencils later, I had a world map. Short while later, it got broken in by my group. It went well until maintenance came in 1 day and freaked out about it…..had to take it down to prove I hadn’t damaged the wall…lol
Is this just me, or does anyone else have a foreboding sense of “It’s too neat to be true, something is going to go nasty quickly.” ? I mean everything being just fine, would be cool and awesome happy-fuzzy warmth and all that. But it would make a pretty boring storyline, no? Ah, let’s not read anything into this that isn’t there. Only the update will tell for sure.
Eh, that’s no way to start an arc. It’s a good way to introduce new characters, new conflicts, and to reintroduce existing characters and old problems, but that usually happens just after the initial setup. By my calculations (which are entirely intuitive), we won’t be seeing that happen for another eight pages at least.

My only complaint about the game room is that whenever I think about GMs/DMs they’re in high backed chairs, that may or may not be encrusted with gems, bones, or a combination of the two.

Used to be squeezycheeze, but I found out I’ve actually been allergic to milk my whole life (And was treating it with asthma meds), so that’s been a while, heh.

Been reading Richard Dawkins the God Delusion and in one aside I now want a map with the southern hemisphere up top.
Also, holy cow, I need to game there. That looks gorgeous (compliments to the artist). I’ve never seen such comfortable looking chairs and adequate lighting. I’ve got a mortgage and an 8-year old kid, a man my age should be able to do this stuff.
Well, yeah. It’s intuitive. The only real reason to do different is just for the sake of being different, and that’s not a very good reason. (Or maybe if you live in Argentina, I guess)

For some reason I can see Brett going for Story and uniqueness instead of Twinking (Min-Maxing’s worse older brother) out.
Seeing the maps and such on the back wall make me SUPER excited for the Karthun Kickstarter!!
