He would have sent them to Mine 42 but then they would learn the answer to everything. So we sent them to the next best place.
Star trek uses “47” because it is “42, adapted for inflation”.
He is not quite as far in the future as Star Trek, so naturally his inflation is less severe.

Then again because of the original cult classic horror flick, “My Bloody Valentine” and the soso remake I just can’t really get behind mine themes anymore….
I really love the style with which the map was drawn. It’s almost as if the entire city is carved out of a giant’s head and upper torso…
They must be using stronger materials underground than Paris.
