Brett, Sam is gonna remove your character’s remaining arm at the end of this adventure if you don’t let the plot progress.
Just give him a blade on his head in the shape of a shark fin. He will be fine.
And now I just *know* someone’s going to bring this as a character concept to my table.

Sam is a better DM than that, and probably has an idea of what Brett is about to say, probably something along the lines of “Look chuckles, Taking out some dark wizard is one thing, but what you are essentially asking us to do is commit murder on nothing more than your say-so. I dunno what they call it here, but back home we call some high-and-mighty muckamuk hiring a bunch of murder-hobos like us ‘plausible deniability.’ I’m gonna need to see some info on just why this wahoo of yours needs a-gankin”
That’s actually not a sign of a good DM. A DM on roughly Sam’s tier would have a flexible enough plot structure that a character can dissent from the initial hook but still be either convinced to return to it or find his way into the story through another door. Auto-railroading is for chump DMs- the good ones will let the players ride their own tracks (within reason, of course) and bend the rail schedule to intersect with them.
First of all, I need to find a way to work “murder-hobos” into my everyday conversation.

Dude I am loving the Karthun Arcs. Gamer to Gamer, Excellent work man. Out of curiosity we will ever see another CoC story? It was the Arc I started on and holds a special place in my heart lol. Keep it up man.

I was introduced to your comic via imgur, marathoned it in one day, and would like to thank you for your skilled storytelling and character creation skill. The multiple universes that you’ve created are intricate and innovative and the character creation is so well done that I got choked up with the “broken leg” storyline. Thanks for a great storyline and I look forward to your future products.
