Harsh Reflections: Part Sixteen
Chapter: Season Six
In the world of d20Monkey, Charlie has moved over to a small, handheld device that randomly announces 1d20 results (he knows his modifiers).
Also, way to step in there, Speaker of Harmony and make all that harmony.
That description in the second panel sounds a lot like a friend of mine and his Rouge too…coincidence? mayhaps, but I can’t help but feel its based off true events for almost everyone here.
Hahaha Unclinching as a free action was something i did in a really intense moment in a campaign i played in. Ahh gotta love the creativity sometimes 🙂
Roll to check for shit-britches?
What’s the party’s save against Stinking Cloud?
I know he said it was Jeda’s free action but, Brett’s face makes me think it was his too.
What’s Brett’s save vs sharting?
Of course Charlie knows his modifiers, he’s a badass!
a +4 mod? not bad.
(assuming 5th Edition rules) How does he only have a +4? He either has a low CHA bonus, or he didn’t take persuasion as a proficiency (+2 proficiency bonus, before level 5, where it jumps to +3, applied to all proficient skills)!
I might be remembering it wrong, but isn’t that character a cleric? Using the guitar/lute/mandolin/whatever as a holy symbol? If so, then slightly lower CHA bonus would make sense, as a cleric’s main stat is traditionally WIS*. If 5E (or the Karthun setting) changed something there, feel free to correct me. I haven’t had a chance to actually play 5E or read the PHB cover-to-cover yet, due to work and living, well, in the ass-end of nowhere with no D&D players around (and a nasty tendency for the planned Roll20 sessions of my old group to happen on my work nights).
*doesn’t the cleric get fewer proficiencies than the bard as well? If so, could be a priorities issue.
Just wondering if anyones picking the diamonds that had to be falling out of Jedda . .
I roll for a sigh of relief. Holy crap that was close.
Come on man, I’m used to looking at your comics at 3 in the morning (cause they’re so good)
You’re late!
I know a guy who might bevworking on a device like Charlie is using he did a non speaking one recently and liked the idea of a talking ome when I sugested it
I really like Charlies old roller that did the Dukes of Hazard horn on nat20s
