Iron King ain’t got time for no exposition, son!
(also, I know there is a typo but I am traveling so I’ll fix it when I get back home)

This king dude is so metal.
He looks rather stone[d] to me.
I see what you did there 😉
Just don’t take him for granite! :p
Gneiss one.
My sediments exactly.
I’m ultra-mafic, because I’m so Dunite now.
U guys is Clayzy
OK, we’re done.
hey, why you gotta be a rock-blocker bro?
i wonder what the party’s reaction to this will be…
*suspense!*
I can’t wait to read more about Karthun species and being conditions. The Iron King and his composition as it were.
I can be a bit of a stickler for typos at times, but when someone is putting in all of the work that you do on a piece like this…. I’m fine with ignoring it. Hell, Marvel and DC still have typos.
He looks like the king of seasons i wonder if he will act like him too?
Iron is more firm than the seasons.
“I have received word of _a_ plot…” or “plots”. Sorry to be that guy.
I just assumed that was the GM being slightly meta. “You want to go here. It’s where plot is unfolding.”
I don’t like to really nitpick on spelling much, but because I enjoy this strip so much (especially with the RP), I think you should know that the last panel should be “a plot” and “to” instead of that too.
I look forward to this arc, however.
I felt like the “plot” was a fourth wall break.
The too is a typo though I think
Oooh, sounds funky.
ooh a killing…sounds fun. We’re kinda in the same boat, just replace killing with hunting and Night council with Werewolf and you are set for a nightmare in the making.
I found the typo, guys. They’re /supposed to be/ going to the “City of Narwhal” to slay the Dark Narwhal king, thereby preventing him from becoming a dangerous ally to the aquatic enemies of Andern.
ah, that’s why they are meeting at midnight, and why the King reminds me of Kevin Bacon….
Hmm the King, asking to have someone assassinated, is this an imposter? I would have my suspicions about all of this.
Eh. I suspect greatly that assassination is far more prevalent, ordered by monarchs and heads of state, especially in this kind of world, then most people would believe. As to whether it’s necessary, that’s a massively nuanced issue that would have to be examined on a case by case basics, and involves politics, which my response to at this point is “Screw this, I’m out.”
TL;DR: I wouldn’t be in the slightest bit shocked if the king really did just need them to off a guy
I wonder for payment if they will demand the Iron Price.
“No particular member, any one of them will do. They’re all jerks.”
one time we were sent on an assassination mission but the GM/council member the sent us used… a more diplomatic way of saying it. so we totally didn’t realize we were supposed to KILL the guy and just went to talk to him. well, that didn’t go as planned but we finished the job in the end. so, yay for being direct!
