Nice. I cant wait to see you infuse some of the rules into the comic so we can see the kinds of things we can do once the Karthuun setting is done and released.
I hope the actual book is coming along nicely as well.
Ditto. I’m especially excited to see some of how the class/profession mechanics work.
I really want to see how this Mage-elemental fusion stuff works.

during that dungeon run arc that was one of the most interesting things in my opinion (rules wise, the story progression was fun too) and I would love to see how its progressed now that they are actually putting the system together.
Really excited to see this gaming arc. Will be cool to see some of the Karthun content we’ve written appear in the comic.

I have really enjoyed the character building stuff of the last few months, and the Christmas arc was great. When I saw Karthun, though, all I could think was…
I’d like to see Brett fudging other people’s dice rolls with his Santa magic… probably would get him into trouble, but might make for a good strip or two…
Brett would never do that.
Dove would, Brett may not be the nicest gamer at the table but he isnt a cheater.
Fudging -other people’s- dice rolls (at least fudging them to be good) doesn’t help him personally, though. So I don’t think Dove would do that. Also, this isn’t a competition as far as I know, so there would be no benefit to fudging someone’s rolls to go badly.
Speaking of which, what revenge will Dove Attempt to get and how bad is it going to come back at him since Brian is back? We all know Dove is planning something bad and someone has brought him into the fold with the express intent of causing trouble for the D20 Monkey crew. We also know he is going to be blaming the person he lost to as well as the DM, I hate the term GM;yeah I’m old school, will she join with the team after all the hurt she thinks they caused when in reality they were showing support against a turd in a turd suit? We have tons of questions that need answers here…

You know, I recently read through from the begining of D20Monkey all over again, and I have to say, your story telling skills, as well as you artistic skills, have changed and evolved drastically. It’s almost startling when you plow through it all in a day or so. Keep up the awesome work man, also, looking forward to the coming arc!

Awwwww, yeah! More Karthun! This will help tide us impatient ones over (well, maybe just me, and maybe just a little bit) while you guys work on getting the IRL book to us.

Is that a Rx bottle next to Sam’s drink? I don’t remember him being on any medication. Is it from his brief stint at the hospital?

let’s see, he recently had this thing called a BROKEN LEG that had to be operated on… and he’s barely even able to walk, but he does now have a SWEET cane with a secret. I can’t wait to see him use that on someone, maybe say Dove…… Anyway, back on target, he should be taking meds, as a guy who’s had a broken arm in much the way he broke his leg he’ll be taking pain meds for about 6 – 7 months at the most, if he’s lucky he might be off the meds in about 5 months on the outside. Not even mentioning the physical therapy that comes with all that mess but which would be great for finding more gamers, or could be, its not a small thing. That brings up another thing you might want to keep in mind, from the experience of having a bad break like this myself, he’s going to have times when their playing that the meds will kick in and he’s going to have to go blow chunks at times, or even have times where he is going to find himself really tired and unable to do anything but sleep. It royally sucks, no joke, now sometimes the meds won’t be so bad but he isn’t going to be 100% which is the point, not for a while anyway. You also have to keep in mind that with that injury he came up with he is going to have problems running the store, good thing he works for his father then? that’s going to be a huge pain when he is working either way.
I can’t agree more Sam! Hell yeah and Halle-F’ing-luJah! About freakin’ time! Enough of this Kringle arc already. (not that I didn’t enjoy it) And pretty please don’t forget to throw in some “Bob the fighter” comics. My group and I still snicker when I bring up the Pit Trap full of Bees and the Rot Grub Hot Tub, (trap). Good times…good times.
When the big board of players was shown a while back, it said that Jeanie was filling Brett’s spot. I’m glad to see that she’s still in the mix even though he’s back. Should make for some interesting interaction… plus more Jeanie is never a bad thing.
