There is a reason most authors thank their editor(s) in the “Acknowledgement” section of their books.
If editors did not exist, you’d have the Texax Assasssinss. (Typo my dad saw in a book, while I found a typo for ‘blook.’)

i wonder how much booze EL James and Stephanie Meyers editors went through
I’d guess about 3 metric tons per chapter in the case of the poor sod slogging through Ms. Meyers’ manuscript. Don’t recognize the other “writer” but being mentioned in the same breath as her does not instill much hope for the editor’s liver.
E.L. James was responsible for the Fifty Shades series. I had to get blitzed just to mention them in this comment.
I keep trying to forget they exist and people just go and ruin it for me.
Just one quick question for my first comment on here – is ‘unwaving’ supposed to be ‘unwavering’? Or is that part of the joke?
