Dungeon Run: Right to Business
Chapter: Comics, Season Five
I like the idea that Jeanie and Trevor wouldn’t talk shit to each other and would just right at other. Total respect.
Hey look! A new store item!

Hover-text: Man, I hope that spear didn’t hurt her septum. She’ll need a doctor to INSPECTUM! RIGHT?! RIIIIIIGHT?!
Well she did hit his mandible……
I really wish I could afford some of your shirts. Being a bigger guy though, I’d have to buy 5X shirts and custom shirts can get pricey. I’d much rather go buy some Miniatures or maybe some old Dungeons & Dragons items.
In this shirt, it seems that men’s 5X is a standard size and wouldn’t cost more. it might be a good time to buy a cool tee shirt if that’s not normally easily available to you! 🙂
True! I got a GOOD deal on larger tees this time and I can make everything the same price (which is something i have been dying to do).
Well my birthday is coming up soon, so I hope to be able to get at least one or two if I have enough money.
This comic makes my teeth hurt.
How do you GM something like this? Nothing but notes back and forth until they encounter each other?
The map is on the table, the players enter a different points, and Sam makes blind checks behind the table (with his own version of the map). When a PC “sees” someone in the mists, they choose to attack, hide, run, etc. It is a little more work for the GM in this phase but it keeps the tension up.
I’m not sure I really understand the underlying motivations here. There are six players in this round, and five are permitted to advance to the next round.
That means only one PC needs to die! Why don’t they all just team up and kill Phillip F. Douche? Then everybody else can advance to the next round and if it turns out to be like “HAHA NOW HERE’S A CO-OP BOSS” they’ll have more people to fight it with.
The six runners are split into two groups, which presumably are not in close proximity to one another until near the end of the maze.
Exactly.
You’ll see it play out but some take the “only 5 of us make it” seriously and go for the throat. If one dies, Sam may advance the remaining players to the final round. We’ll see.
Ah, I see. Anybody who interprets it like “one person dies = next round starts immediately” might try to kill the first person they see just to end the round ASAP.
I’m just picturing this game’s equivalent of a rogue hiding until everyone else has been killed/sufficiently weakened before killing the survivor.
That’s probably what Dove is going to do. Hell, that’s what I’d do.
That’s what Brett would do.. if he was here.. T__T
“I watch and from the shadows I hold my hands aloft and whisper, ‘Dance, puppets, dance!'”
So, what I don’t understand. Jeanie and Trevor were placed on the same group.
I had assumed that it would be group versus group. but if Trevor is attacking Jeanie, well, that’s party in-fighting that Dove would be foolish not to capitalize on.
Add this shirt to the list of things to buy when I start getting paychecks again.
