“The gripping hand is, I don’t think Amy has a Meta bone in her body. One of the things I love about her character is she’s delightfully unselfconscious, to the point of being almost naive. What you see is what you get, no deception, no hidden agendas, no reserve.”
Never trust an author, They’re only showing you what THEY want you to know, in such ways that it will make you think what THEY want you to think. All for the sake of surprising you by revealing how much they fooled you. “Genius. Evils, evils genius.” indeed.
While I really liked how Amy got Tamina to drop out of the Dungeon Run, I do feel bad because of the missed opportunities to see Tamina & Philip at odds.
Oh, well, I’ll have to settle for the possibilities that an Amy-Dallas double team on Philip can provide. Unless Phillip proves capable of dealing with both of them, of course.
Heh… Wonder if Amy is on Dallas’ short list of ftf playtesters when she creates new material for publication. She seems to be the kind of player who’ll redline the material and give a detailed report of when and where it broke. 🙂
First time I read this didn’t realize she planned for big girls negative reaction to quit the game. Only on like the second or third read of the comics do I realize otherwise.
Hover-Text: I am still hardcore shipping Amyna like whoa.
The crafty lady haha. I’m impressed.
I see what you did there
I didn’t. But now I do. Than you for pointing out my own clumsy wit!
=D !!!
Hell yeeeahhh!
Amy is teh mega mastermind =P
Pretty sneaky, Amy! You are awesome! One down…
One massive bastard to go. Now it’s two on one…Dove is gonna burn.
Beware those who come bearing handmade hats.
Crap, I meant “Beware geeks who come bearing handmade hats.
Timeo omnisapientes (best I could do, sorry) et manufacta galera ferentes, you mean.
I say: “Beware geeks who come bearing bears.”
It usually turns….grizzly.
You’re just pand(a)ering to the crowd. 🙂
Hah, yes. Pay the head games early enough and you can win before anyone else has even started.
Ahh, but the trick is to play the *right* head games.
The ones involving hats.
Ah… Tamina’s major transgression was more recent than Dove’s, was looking forward to watching her get crushed.
Oh she’s good, she’s very, VERY good.
A woman’s two most evil weapons: PMS and Arts & Crafts……
A man’s most evil weapon: misogyny
You know, I know more men who do crafts than women. And painting minis _does_ count as “arts & crafts”.
And PMS is not as much of thing as some men (and some women) make it out to be…
… Tell me your views on the consumption of chocolate.
There is little better than Dove dark chocolate, but my wife tells me I love chocolate more than most of the women she knows. Mmmmm, chocolate…
And Bedazzling, glue and glitter on everything to make everyone else go insane that it even drives other women away…..
I figured this is what she was doing. It’s just… so…
Amy.
*falls off chair giggling*
Didn’t think I could like Amy more. I was wrong. She took Tamina for a ride on the TROLLERCOASTER!
Quoting myself, from yesterday:

I have never been so happy to have been so wrong.

Amy just became my utmost hero! Love her totally, you rock Amy!
I want to be Amy’s best friend now… I’ll even suffer through the puff paints because … evil genius 🙂
I liked.
Don’t play the game, play the player.
First time posting here EVER, and I had to break my silence because “sparkle sister from another mister” is GOLDEN! 🙂 Love Amy.
I stumbled onto your comic maybe a year ago, read the entire thing from the beginning, and always anticipate the next panels. Thanks!
NICE! Totally didn’t see that coming.

Oops, that should be Phillip each time. Not, I suppose, that I should feel too bad about misspelling a fictional character’s name.
Oh, *very* good.
Binge-read and caught up in two days. Shh. Don’t tell my boss.
Love your work, Brian. As a long time DM (199…4?), it all hits home in the best possible way.
Thank you.
She’s definalty a keeper. If same screws this up he deserves to be alone for the rest of his life
Just noticed you guys weren’t on hiveworks anymore. Now I have a reason to clean up my favorites list so I can get to your link faster.

That was it for Taminya? Really? I’m sad to see her go.
Tamina is an asshole, but she probably made the right call there. No trophy is worth THAT.
