Christmas Montage: Part One
Chapter: Season Five
For the next few strips, we will have a little bit of a montage following a few of Brett’s stops on his Christmas Eve run.
The folks who back me on Patreon just received all of the Christmas montage strips early! That’s right. I’m living in Buffer Town!
HOVER-TEXT: Are you singing the song about a montage? THE SONG ABOUT A FUCKIN’ MONTAGE? MONTAGE?! Always sing this song when you think about a montaaaaaage.

America! Fuck yeah!
I always think of this one:
I can’t decide if that is a female with short hair and low-light shadow on her face, or another dude with 5 o’clock shadow. Not that it matters, it’s just very androgynous.
It is indeed a fella with a 2-day beard. I’ll go back and make that a little more defined.
I do believe he is talking about the little one laying on the couch 🙂
Kudos for the interracial gay parents. No joke.
Seriously. You almost never see that outside of things that are about gay people in the first place. Having a gay couple–interracial or no, although you certainly get bonus points there–as background characters in something that’s not about gay people already is really refreshing. Thank you. I won’t say it made my day, but it did make my thirty minutes or so.
Dick jokes are always fun, but it’s the special little moments like this that gets the Patreon donations.
Thank you for the warm fuzzies.
I like that this comic shows all relationships and races as normal. Not like others that push it in your face. It’s just… Right. This is how it should be. Nobody sees it as strange. Unless they’re Dove. In which case… Ugghhh… Dove.
Actually, a whole lot of people see it as strange. Perhaps not in your circles, but that is anecdotal.
Will love the montage, but am also anxious to see Brett’s mom and dad tell Higgins to “eat a dick.”
We’ll see what happens there. Paaaaaaaatience. 🙂
Where’s the “Santa is fuckin’ awesome!” Child?
That was Mel’s sister. She may yet appear again. Time will tell. – Brian answered like an editor in a comics letter page.
It occurs to me that this sort of encounter being no reason for Brett-ta Claus to panic means he either goes around erasing people’s memories, which comes out a little Lawful Evil to me, or that the existence of Santa Claus is well-known to be true in D20Monkeyworld.
Awesome.
