Ok. I *love* this comic, have for a few years. But, i gotta ask–where was this “King of Seasons” when Klaus was teabagging Christmas every other year? He’s all up in Brett’s shit to dole out the toughguy “your a punk” lesson, but couldn’t be bothered when a legitimate threat to usurp and undermine the mantel appeared. Or is “Higgins” Klaus’s new patsy/mask?
I’m betting that he was letting Klaus run rampant to see if there was someone worthy to take up the mantle. Brett passed the test, with the beatdown being the start of the second, which is to see if Brett had the balls to carry the weight of the mantle, rather than just take advantage of the perks that came with it.
I was really looking forward to re-living some Brett Tucker christmas fun but sorry I drank Bretts bottle……..but he didn’t bring the first edition my wife ordered on the 1st of decemeber so he doesn’t deserve the bottle…..hopefully I will have it before the end of the year.
Got my First Edition book finally…..and enjoying re-reading the comic and looking at how your art has improved over time till now…and how much I miss Brett as a character
I hope your Holiday was amazing!! Brett *ahem* I mean Santa ate the combos, drank the booze, and forgot to leave the gifts. It’s ok, my parents got me socks! And I have a new GM Guild shirt on the way. In related news can we do a funding drive to assassinate “higgins”. I mean, maybe set the level to $5k and then increase the creativity of the hit at stretch goals? I would kick in for that.
This is one man’s opinion, so take it for what it’s worth, but you might want to throw in the occasional guest strip if you’re going to be out of town for a while. I came back after your accident and I’ve always been a fan of the comic, but no comic for a week (or more) is jarring, and it makes it a lot harder to get back into the swing of things.
I just finished catching up and inhave to say this comic is awesome. It makes me wish I knew people I could play D&D with. Ive never played but i want to.

Even though I didn’t leave out the food for him, I’m sure he had a good time in our pantry. He even got me everything I wanted.
I’ve got eclairs and vodka, I hope that’s suitable. (I can substitute caramel Irish cream for the vodka if preferred.)

The tradition at our house has always been coffee and a multipack of doughnuts. Would adding some whiskey to the coffee make it acceptable
