Sorry these pages are going up late in the day on post day, but they are big pages and they take time.

Yeah! Clean his clock!
TOTALLY read clock.
INCOMING!
Apparently someone has a differing opinion
Love the CLANG! It’s such a shoutout to the fun silliness you can do with supers. Related:

As for the apology about how long these take to draw… any segment of your audience bitching about when you post comics clearly does not appreciate that a full page cannot possibly be produced as quickly as a 3-4 panel strip, unless you were half-assing it. But you’re not. That’s on them, not on you.
A better reply to his apology simply does not exist. Bravo
Seconding – or I guess it’s technically thirding by now – this.
Fourthing!
In any great magical or super-science battle, it’s the guy who throws a rock that messing things up for everyone.
YES!
Hey, King Chronos! You want a little head?
And the One Clock is Struck. (Wonder if he’s seeing little Cuckoo birds flying around his head.) Will they make it out of this iteration with the loot? Will Meltdown get all hot and bothered by Hollywood’s offer of a little head? Tune in next time to find out! Same King Cronos Time, Same King Cronos channel!
I am super eager to know more about the setting and chars, keep up the awesome work!
Ooh Matron!
How does respond to having a robot head thrown at you?
I really love what I read until now!
Man, it must be difficult to come up with fresh ideas or concept for supers, but yours are reeeaaaaallly cool!
Love the little bump on the crown after the clang^^
I’m still trying to figure out if King Chronos is one of the characters or if this is an intro for the adventure
Pretty sure King Chronos is the Big Bad.
Hollywood (at least the brief glimpse we’ve had of him) looks a bit like Sam, so is probably his character.
The three guys in the control room looked a bit like Carlos (possibly a DM-controlled NPC who sends them on missions, or else he’s playing a character in his own game), Brett (blonde guy who was controlling the Wonderbots until they got carbonised), and Trevor (guy at the controls behind the Carlos-looking one).
Just guessing though 🙂
Could be that it’s more of a PvP setting, in which case Meltdown and Chronos are player characters too.
Enjoying this so far though 😀
Hollywood is Trevor’s, Brian is keeping the rest close to the chest until they appear in the strip, but he’s the only player character to appear at all.
Confirmed. I mentioned this during one of my live steams on Twitch.
Hollywood is Trevor’s character. He might look a little like Sam on purpose…
Ahh ok 🙂
Didn’t see the live stream.
At first I thought Hollywood looked a bit like Lee (with the shades and everything), but guessing he wouldn’t get talked into playing with the gang, I imagined him as Sam a bit older looking.
Ah well, happy to wait and see. Enjoying this so far 😀
Out of game, is this Trevor helping Carlos practice GMing with a 1 to 1 game session, to help make up for his bad joke?
I was also thinking it might be a PvP setting. I’m totally intrigued, at any rate.
Ah Pen and Paper PVP??? Sounds difficult.
It’s doable, it only becomes tricky/tedious if you want to keep actions secret from other players to prevent metagaming. I was thinking of ending a pair of campaigns I was trying to run with a large cross-party PvP battle, I had all the story leading up to it figured out, but one of the campaigns ended early due to half the players heading off the University, and the other campaign didn’t end up starting at all. At least the Siege of Tear’s End ended up becoming a great final session for the campaign that went ahead, despite the lack of PvP.
Now it’s time to see if this some kind of prologue, or whether the players are up to the witty banter required for such games. 🙂
You’ve definitely got me hooked on the setting so far with your comics. Can’t wait to see more.
Between the cape and the “let the good guys catch you monologuing” faux-pas, I get the feeling that King Chronos flunked out of SMSCC (Syndrome Memorial Supervillain Community College).
Maybe Trevor really digs sam. Maybe he just digs mirror aviators. Either way, I dig it.
And that is how you give a “headbut” on range, without hurting yourself. Granted doing that with anything but Robot bodies is usually frowned upon.
The last panel had me laughing so hard I ran out of breath. Thank you for that, Brian!
Just wanted to say now that we’re 3 years beyond this – Andromeda X is still my favorite arc and seeing Carlos grow to be confident in his GM skills is probably what pushed me to do the same. So basically this arc is fuckin awesome, as is the rest of this comic.
