Love the affect in the first two panels of the flash back were it looks aged and like a older tv broadcast. Can’t wait to see what happens great world building is happening.
And it is well done! Subtle character changes, even when you don’t notice them at first, are always a nice surprise. Well, discovering them at least. I suppose if Carlos slowly turned out to be an Evil Mastermind(tm) it wouldn’t be so cool (because I like him as a good guy), but, well, you know what I mean. 🙂
