Yeah, but a jerk breaking your heart does tend to fall further down the “I want to murder you and reduce your vital organs to ash/mush/slush/free-range atoms/paste” from the killing of one’s beloved spouse. I mean, after the killing of one’s beloved spouse, somehow a jerk breaking your heart just seems like, maybe, a paragraph in the book of reasons why “I” want “you” dead while the killing of a beloved spouse takes up two or three chapters.

Nothing is fireproof, for high enough values of fire. Fire-resistant, perhaps.

I can’t say objectively that this is the best storyline you’ve ever done, but I can say subjectively that this is the best storyline you’ve ever done. I want to know everything about all these characters.
