Even Sophia would be iffy (even with name dropping the series) – and given Bronco looks like she’s taken a few too many freight trains to the head, her making the crack is impressive enough!
(P.S. Also, maybe Matron was a bit of a human mattress in her younger and wilder days, how would we know? ;^) )

Though I agree with Maxwell-5 being expressive enough through a single lens to get the point across. This is easily one of my favorite panels that Brian has ever done.
Two subtle details in this that I absolutely love.
Disco Nova (played by Jeanie’s husband) is grinning like, “Hell yeah, that’s my girl!”
And Max-5’s “eye” is half closed as if squinting or scowling disapprovingly or in annoyance.
