So, she is still alive … Chronos is in a lot of trouble.
But the question is, is her being here a good thing … or a bad one?
I’m thinking both.
Good: Our team didn’t die in a fiery wreck.
Bad: There will probably be some serious explaining to do back at Olympus HQ.
I feel like this can only be described as “Deus ex…. f***.”

Don’t worry about story length. It’s been amazing! Yes some people have the attention span of a five year old with a shiny bag of nickels but the rest of us enjoy the stories regardless of length.

Seemed like in her first appearance, she had flight and super strength. Did she develop telekinesis, too? Or is it just that her TK manifested as “strength” to start with?

It was this exactly. It began with tactile-telekinesis and it evolved with time and training.

Matron is a good title. She’s got that Grandma level of disappointment and annoyance, because when Grandma gets pissed, the fecal matter has definitely hit the rotary-impeller.
Or maybe I should say, “If Grandma gets pissed, you know you done ******-up.” 🙂

I don’t comment a lot, but this needs to be said. You sir, are a story-telling genius!!! I am loving this arc!
Seriously, I think I sad this before, but I would pay for a world setting guide. After the My Hero Academia world, this is becoming another favorite superhero setting for me
Also, I have a feeling Matron showing up was related to the Top Secret action Dallas did earlier.
Wait.. matron is telekineticly holding up the whole choronodome and prof wonder. Seems to be under no strain and she calmly demands her blood. Hell if I was the bad guy I would be like “oh I am kinda missing death by crashing dome about now.”
She is. No strain. I want Omega Class to be awe inspiring.

Grateful appreciation to all those who are catching the backstory elements and hints and reminding us about them! As with other favorite webcomic arcs, I plan to re-read from the beginning when it’s done.

Here’s the subtext that got missed by folks – the heros were NOT happy to see her. This is a frying pan -> fire situation.

So, is summoning/mentally calling out to Matron what Dallas did on her first turn during the fight with Chronos? What she had to make a four-card pull for? I’m leaning towards it because I don’t see anything else that she contributed during that fight, certainly not something that merits passing a note, but at the same time I’m not sure that “Oh shit” would be the reaction I’d have if my desperate plan worked out.
Nah. If you look carefully at her holo-bracer, she’s hacking into Chonos’ computer. The guy may be an villianous turdbucket, but he has useful information. Including stuff that might be unethical for the good guys at Olympus to collect themselves.
