“Hmm..I think we should have round two in a place that won’t kill both of us.” “I hate you Olympus agents but no I completely agree one hundred percent. Truce?” “Truce.”
You put the work in to make us hate Chronos and also feel awe at his power and suddenly he’s quite ready to side with Bronco to address this new development. We know what’s coming is beyond anything we’ve seen, and this battle has already gone to 11. That’s hard-earned, well-considered narrative payoff right there, and worth anything I can send you.
I just want to say that this single line has elevated King Chronos to levels of supervillany occupied by such luminaries as Magneto, Dr Doom, and the better incarnations of Lex Luthor.
This was very similar to the alternative ending to the Mustafar lava battle in “Revenge of the Sith.” Apparently, it tested poorly with preview audiences.
LOL
That no look good…
Pants-wetting moments of terror: uniting heroes and villains since time immemorial.
“Bowel shaking earthquake of doubt and remorse” springs to mind…
So… round two is a bust? 🙂 Also all of time and space might collapse in upon itself? Got it.
I could not see Chronos’ expression in that last panel and not support your Patreon.
and I appreciate that very, very much.

brilliant. Didn’t see that one coming…
“Next question. In what order?”
All three at once, ideally. But this isn’t the Panic Olympics, so I say just freestyle it.
Mutually assured destruction does *occasionally* unite even the most stubborn of enmities.
Meltdown’s meltdown has caught up with the timeline I see?
I feel like I missed a page, here. Did something explode because of his time-shift?
Well, I believe the place was coming down before. Seems they just ran out of time.
Either this battle was happening in parallel with Hollywood’s battle with Meltdown, or this is a second explosion resulting from it.
Brian, this story line has been awesome, and the giant art panels have really brought home the action. Consider me a Patreon patron too.
