Korra was just a terrible person by the end. She needed Mako to keep her from going on extreme tangents and wasn’t considerate of a lot of people’s feelings. Asami is gorgeous, brilliant, and all around lively.
I confess, I must agree with Sam. At least with Asumi, there’s a chance of you two being equals. With Korra, you are going to be overshadowed. There’s no question.
I believe another webcomic of some note has delved into this issue as well. Good to see we’re fostering a dialogue on the all-important Korra vs. Asami debate!
Asami. I know Korra is the heroine of the whole thing, but Asami is a better fit. Plus you don’t have to worry about Asami losing her shit and frying you or burying you alive.
I’m still amused by the fact that the timeline is still in pre-Christmas 2013. Another webcomic I follow is still at Halloween ’13, so you’re not in last place.
I gotta go with Sam on this one. I’d much rather date Asami than Korra. Korra kinda bugged me from the start of the show and in my opinion she only seemed to become a worse person and avatar as we went on. That girl has Issues.

I love Christmas too much and this arc is too important for the coming years worth of comics to simply skip.

I don’t know how I missed the tiny Santa hat on to of the Cthulhu hat the first couple times I read this.
