OMFG, i just can’t wait to see this arc, really, it’s been forever since i wanted to see the real conclusion with mel and mel boyfriend.

I will say I find it odd that there’s a gaming group that lacks martial arts proficiency in at least the majority of it’s members…
Just me?
Yeah, there’s only one guy in our group with anything approaching proficiency in the martial arts, lol.
I have Kendo, Judo, Single-stick, Boxing, and a bit of various others under my belt. Even the least proficient in our group has some wrestling experience and a bit of kickboxing.
Most of us picked it up in self-defense, or an interest in the cultures, or the like. Perhaps it’s older geeks? (I’m the youngest in my group, which still amuses me that I’m the DM).
Not every tall muscled out dude can fight. Actually a lot of them can’t fight, intimidating factor is one thing, like a blow fish most are just puffed with air.
Also, bulk means less speed and flexability.
Also, 3 or 4 kicks to the ‘nads and he’ll drop like a sack of potatoes.
That was my thought; unless he actually does boxing or wrestling or something, he shouldn’t really be that much of a threat. Otherwise, all I’d expect he can do is pound on someone who just stands there and takes it. Anyone who actually knows what they’re doing would take him apart.
So, I’m conflicted here. I’m a DM, but I also ‘lift, in the dudebro sense’. (I can bench 300 pounds!)
Grey looks like he’s bulked up a bit since we last saw him, though that could be angle..

Conflicted? Shit no! Don’t be conflicted! I know a few GMs who are in great shape, bench heavy, and are absolutely great guys. In Grey’s case it is a “Great Power/Great Responsibility” situation. He is a douche canoe. Plain and simple. 🙂

No way that’s angle; have a look at his first appearance, compared to now. Specifically, he used to have a neck. He doesn’t anymore.
AAAAANNNNNND things just got worse. Enter Grey, the “Soldier Villain” to Dove’s “Arch Enemy” (to quote “Unbreakable”).
Did Sam’s “critical hit” start Grey on the path to truth and decency? Or cause him to close up even tighter, thus making him worse than before? Only time will tell.
I’m also wondering if Dove had anything to do with introducing Grey and Mel to begin with, since it makes sense that Mel and Dove might know each other in the RPG’ing world. OR it’s all one big coincidence…
Another possibility: Dove IS being an @$$, but he’s ALSO being threatened with bodily harm by Donnie, and Grey is just getting Dove’s back. Hopefully that’s what Grey’s doing, and not just taking ANY opportunity to hurt people. We’ll just have to see what happens.

What happened to Grey’s nose? It used to have a notch thing in it. I assumed it was from some bar-fight or something.
It was his kinda furrowed brow. Call it an evolution of my style since he last appeared but I am taking the opportunity to clean him up a little. He’ll look a little bigger now as well.

Grey, like any good Villain, he’s entered his second form…which as we can clearly see from the foreboding shadow, is a ‘Lot’ bigger than he used to be. Though I had been wondering what happened to Grey/Douchebro, so; now to see what’s up with him since his confrontation with Sam.
So, the two biggest douchebags are related?
Not a good omen…
