Chapter: Season Two
Sam’s body count continues to rise with the death of Trevor’s wizard character: Trelain Cloverbottom.
For those keeping score, that leaves Mel and Brett as the only two players with characters standing and Brett was separated from the group when they entered the dungeon. Things do not look good.
I am going to run my first session of Pathfinder this weekend (from the Beginners Box) and I have to say, I am pretty damn excited. The Beginner Box and simplified Pathfinder system seem to scratch a lot of gaming itches I’ve had lately. I hope I’m right. I’ll post a full report after the session this weekend.
Brian
I hope Sam has the Imperial March (Vader’s Song) playing in the back ground cause boy has gone to the dark side.
After most of us not playing for years my group and I (some coming from 3.5 and others from AD&D) tried out 4e our last campaign and have now decided to give pathfinder a go
I must say that pathfinder has definitely lived up to the hype, it’s a great system IMO
I hope you enjoy it as much as we do mate
Looking forward to the play report! Everybody seems to be raving about the beginners box. Guess I’ll have to give it a go.
You tease. You know we’re all just waiting to see how Brett’s character buys it.
I think Brett’s character survives . . . because that’s just the way the world works sometimes.
Good luck with your first Pathfinder game!
Also, I’m taking notes for my on group for the TPK… (mwahahaha). This has been a great storyline and a great “this is the dark side” of DM’ing.
Brian,
I hope you enjoy Pathfinder, as a long time Living FR GM I became disaffected with 4e as a system and started running Pathfinder, it totally re-energised me and I have started running so many other systems alongside it I barely have time to do anything else.
Good Luck.
Really enjoy the strip! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
I played 4e for a year and com LFR but it wasn’t my cup-o-tea. Switched to Pathfinder and never looked back. Loving it! Hope you have a good experience! Pathfinder Society is also much fun!
Good Luck!
Pathfinder is where it’s at! It maintains that 3.5 feel while updating the rules, providing some great adventures and supporting products. Can’t wait to read about how it goes.
